MoDOT Will Repave A Portion Of US 36 In Caldwell County

Resurfacing of portions US 36 in Caldwell County will start in a couple of weeks.  The Missouri Department of Transportation has contracted with Magruder Paving, LLC to complete the resurfacing of the westbound lanes of US 36 from the Livingston County line to Highway 13 in Hamilton.

Work is expected to begin March 23rd, with single-lane closures and spot repairs to the road surface.

MoDOT says the paving portion of the project is planned for mid-April and will also require single-lane closures, but they should be removed each evening.  During the working hours, there will be a 14-foot width restriction.  The work will take place during the week, but some weekend work is expected if it is needed to keep the project on schedule.  The contractor plans to be complete with all work by the end of June.
