Precautionary Measures Taken By Chillicothe R-II School District

The Chillicothe R-II Schools are taking steps to prepare students and staff as the COVID-19 situation continues to develop.  Superintendent Dan Wiebers says the school district is NOT anticipating the need to take any actions due to COVID-19.  Wiebers met with other area superintendents and school officials within the districts to responsibly discuss how the virus could affect the schools.  Wiebers talked about what they have done today (Friday) as a precaution.

He says the elementary teachers will use SeeSaw to communicate with the parents of their students if the need arises.

Again, Wiebers says these are precautionary measures should the situation change over the weekend.

Should the situation with the school district change, KCHI will have that information for you as it becomes available.
