A Flood Warning has been issued for the Grand River at Sumner beginning Thursday morning.
Flood Stage at Sumner is 26 feet and the river should reach flood stage this morning. The river is rising slower than expected and as of 7:30 am, the measurement was 23.6 feet. The river is expected to crest Friday afternoon with a reading near 31 feet and then begin falling. Flooding is expected to end by late Sunday morning.
