The Chillicothe R-II School District teachers are working hard to keep their students busy during this time when meeting in the classroom is prohibited. Superintendent Dan Wiebers says the communication among the teachers has been good and they are also making contact with the students..
Wiebers says the teachers are also trying to show their support for the students. In fact, Dewey School had a parade for their students with the teachers driving by the houses today to show their support.
Wiebers says they are getting feedback from the parents as they are dealing with this unexpected situation.
The Chillicothe R-II School District office is open daily, but the hours are limited. There is someone in the office each day from 8:00 to 10:00 am. If you need to contact someone at the office outside those hours, call 646-4566 and leave a message and they will get back to you.
