A Brunswick woman was injured Wednesday afternoon when she ran into another vehicle in Chariton County. State Troopers report the accident happened about 2:45 pm on Route Y in Brunswick. According to the report, 23-year-old Tianna Whitney of Brunswick was westbound and failed to yield at a stop sign. She struck a trailer pulled by a pick-up driven by 34-year-old Spencer Shannon of Carrollton. Whitney had moderate injuries and was taken to Moberly Medical Center for treatment. Both drivers were wearing safety belts.
