Trenton Police Department Fishing Event Is June 6th

Mark your calendar and remind your parents… The Trenton Police Department’s annual COPS & Bobbers will be held June 6th.  Chief Rex Ross says its Cops and Kids fishing event will be from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at the North Central Missouri College Barton Farm Campus.

This event is being co-sponsored by the Trenton Police Department, Missouri Department of Conservation, NCMC Barton Farm Campus, and the National Wild Turkey Federation.

Chief Ross says participating youth will be eligible for prizes, but they do note that children under 11 years of age must be accompanied by an adult and youth 16 and older must have a Missouri fishing permit.

The event is free for the kids and lunch is being provided by the National Wild Turkey Federation.

Businesses, organizations, or individuals that would like to provide prizes or money to purchase prizes for the kids are encouraged to contact the Trenton Police Department at 359-2121.
