CHS Senior Awards Expected To Top $1,000,000

The Chillicothe High School Seniors are receiving awards and scholarships that will again top $1 million dollars, but this year it is without ceremony.  That does not take away from the importance of the awards and the hard work by the students who are receiving the awards.

Chillicothe High School Principal Dan Nagel says the local community continues to be very generous.

Among the top dollar amounts presented from the local individuals, foundations and organizations in 2020 are:

The Virginia @Wall Scholarship of $10,000 to Callaway Chapman and $7,500 to Emma Bernskoetter

Jerry Litton Leadership Scholarship of $5,000 to Callaway Chapman and $3,000 to Madelyn Wilford.

Kenneth & Eugenia Churchill Foundation Scholarships of $7,000 to Isaak Rasche and Westley Brandsgaard

Dr. William L Fair Memorial Scholarship of $5,000 to Westley Brandsgaard

Joshua Quinn & Abby Quinn Boies Memorial Scholarship of $4,000 to Josie Reeter

Stanley R & Elsie A Scruby Memorial Scholarship of $4,000 each to Emma Bernskoetter and Kiley Kirkpatrick

Cramer & Jeanette Mansur Science Scholarship of $3,000 to Westley Brandsgaard

Nestle Professional Scholarship of $3,000 / renewable to Grace Eaton

Louis H “Judy” & Margaret F Stein Memorial Scholarship of $3,000 each to CJ Pfaff and Dawson Wheeler

Jolene Haas Anderson Memorial Scholarship of $3,000 each to Christiana DeJesus, Jordan Hibner, Luke Hopper, Kaleb Mullikin and Madelyn Wilford

A new one-time scholarship – The Super 70’s Rockin’ Reunion Scholarship from the CHS classes of 1970 – 1979 of $4,000 to Christopher McCarthy
