Chillicothe Police Report For Friday

Chillicothe Police Department responded to 105 calls for service Friday, including reports of flooded roads in the early morning hours.

7:08 am, Officers investigated a report of a possible violation of a child order of protection in the 400 block of Dickinson Street.

10:22 am, Officers took a report of damage to a vehicle in the 600 block of Commercial Street.  The vehicle appeared to have had a tool thrown at it causing damage.  Suspect information was obtained and investigation continuing.

12:30 pm, Officers responded to a report of several teens in the 300 block of Calhoun Street gathering to start fight.  Incident was disrupted by the Officers arrival.  The report states this may have been related to an earlier incident.

1:49pm, Water leak was discovered in the roadway in the 200 block of W. Business 36.  Municipal Utilities was notified.

2:36 pm, Officers checked a report of a suspicious acting person in the 700 block of Elm Street.

3:12 pm, Officers received a report of theft from a business in the 200 block of South Washington Street.  As a result of the investigation, Officers cited a 44 year old male for stealing.

4:04 pm, no injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Washington and Calhoun Street.  One of the vehicles struck the rear of the second vehicle.

7:09 pm, Officers at the police department continued an investigation of a sexual abuse case.

9:37 pm, officers checked a report of a possible fire at Danner Park.  They determined it was a recreational fire in the county.
