Livingston County Sheriff’s Report For Early May

The Livingston County Sheriff’s Department report for the early part of May includes reports of theft and animal neglect.

On May 4th theft was reported at a home in Utica.  The victim reported family members of a spouse had allegedly removed items from the home without consent.  The suspects reside out of state and the Livingston County Sheriff’s Department has been working with a sheriff’s deputy in that state regarding the investigation.

May 12th, Deputies began an investigation of possible animal neglect where a dog was not being properly fed and had no shelter.  The report states the dog appeared to be in need of medical care.  After discussing the matter with the dog’s caretaker and prosecuting attorney, the dog was removed from the premises to receive care.

Arrests in the report include:

On May 7th, Deputies extradited 31-year-old Kyle Austin Davis from the Scotland County Sheriff on a Livingston County arrest warrant for alleged Failure to Obey Judges Order on original Sexual Misconduct charge.  Davis was held at the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail on $2,500 bond.

On May 9th, at about 5:30 pm deputies received a report of a possible dangerous speeding driver on US 36 coming from Linn County.  The Deputy stopped and arrested 24-year-old Patrick Joseph Turgeon of Chicago, Illinois for alleged Excessive Speed and DWI.

On May 12th, Deputies extradited 30-year-old Charles Spencer Henson from the Chariton County Sheriff on Livingston County warrant for alleged Failure to Obey a Judge’s Order on Sex Offender Registration Violation.  Henson was held at the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail in lieu of bond.
