Repairs To Police Station Foundation

The repairs to the foundation of the Chillicothe Police Department will cost $22,280.  The work will be done by Spartan Ram Jack out of Lenexa, Kansas.  The work will include the installation of steel piers, repairing the retaining wall and masonry.

City Administrator Darin Chappell says some of the work will be done by city crews.

The vote on the contract was 4 yes, with 2nd Ward Councilman Wayne Cunningham voting no.

The work will start soon and be completed in about 6 weeks.

The City Attorney will also look into whether the City can recoup any money from the original repairs.
