State Troopers report one injury accident and one arrest in the area counties Thursday.
At about 11:30 am in Dekalb County, a two-vehicle accident left a Cameron teen with minor injuries. State Troopers report 17-year-old Landon Swavey of Cameron was southbound on Route EE, when 38-year-old Cody Taylor was northbound and made a left turn, into the path of the Swavey vehicle and was struck on the passenger side. Taylor was not injured. Swavey was taken to Cameron Regional Hospital with minor injuries. They were both wearing safety belts.
Troopers in Dekalb County reported the arrest of 37-year-old Michael Henry of Cameron for alleged DWI, Child Endangerment, Careless and Imprudent Driving and No Seat Belt. The arrest happened at about 2:12 pm. Henry was taken to the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail.
