Chillicothe Police Report For Wednesday

The Chillicothe Police Department report for Wednesday includes 128 calls for service.

2:42 am, Officers responded to the 500 block of Elmdale Drive for a report of Burglary.  When the officer arrived, a witness stated they observed two people flee the area just before the Officers arrival.  Items have been reported stolen and Officers are attempting to identify and apprehend the suspects.

7:39 am, Officers took a report of theft from a vehicle in the 400 block of Webster Street.  Investigation continuing.

8:11 am, Officers responded to the 1400 block of Alexander Street for a suspicious activity/disturbance.   During the investigation and evidence gathering, Officers arrested a 24-year-old for domestic assault. That person was processed and released.

10:14 am, Someone called for assistance in locating her dog that had jumped out of their vehicle near Danner Park.  Officers were able to find the dog.

1:16 pm, Officers called to a business in the 600 block of W. Business 36 for someone creating a disturbance.  That person was picked up by County Deputy.  No report.

6:44 pm, Officers responded to the 600 block of East Avenue, on a burglary and theft report.   Officers contacted the resident who reported some of his items were stolen while he was away from the residence.   Investigation continuing.

10:13 pm, Complaint of a vehicle at Jackson and Woodward with no license plates.  Officer checked the vehicle and had the vehicle towed from the scene.

10:40 pm, 400 block of Polk Street to an apartment house where someone was illegally obtaining electrical service.  The property owner was handling the incident.
