If you have ever wanted to learn to Kayak, the Missouri State Parks are offering to teach you. This summer, park staff will be offering free kayaking instruction at select Missouri state parks. This will be a great opportunity to try something new and experience some of Missouri’s lakes. The parks are providing the equipment and the expertise; you supply the enthusiasm and an eagerness to discover nature and a new skill.
One of the parks offering the “Learn To Paddle” program is Crowder State Park in Trenton. That will be held on July 25th. Two sessions will be held, from 10:00 am to noon and from 1:00 to 3:00 pm.
