Fireworks Calls on CPD Report

As one would expect, the Chillicothe Police Department was kept busy Friday with numerous fireworks calls.
Other calls for service included a report of a vehicle and trailer parked in a driveway of a residence in the 900 block of Elm Street. The resident didn’t know who owned the vehicle. Ownership was determined and the resident was going to contact the owner.
Officers assisted Animal Control with some wildlife that was in a dumpster in Simpson Park and could not get back out of the dumpster.
An investigation continues on a report of the loss of a debit card in the 1000 block of Graves street.
Officers assisted the Sheriff’s office on a reported theft North of Chillicothe. The officer stopped the involved vehicle at Snow and North Washington Street.
Police received 109 calls for service on Friday
