Two Injured In Single Vehicle Accidents

Two single-vehicle accidents were investigated by State Troopers in the area Counties over the weekend.

Saturday, Troopers in Sullivan County responded to a pick-up that had overturned near Milan at about 7:15 am.  Twenty-four-year-old Anna Martin of Princeton was westbound on Highway 5 and ran off the roadway, struck a fence and her pick-up overturned.  She was taken to Sullivan County Memorial Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries.  She was not wearing a safety belt.

Sunday in Grundy County, Troopers were called for a motorcycle vs deer accident on Highway 6. West of Trenton.  At about 2:35 pm, the bike driven by 67-year-old Micheal McKean of Chillicothe was westbound and the deer ran into his path and was struck by the bike.  Mckean had moderate injuries and was taken to Wright Memorial hospital for treatment.
