As the tax deadline passes, the scammers are active. Michael Devine says don’t fall for the scams where you receive a call or email from someone claiming to be from the IRS and demanding payment.
Devine says if you get that phone call, hang up. If you receive an email from the IRS, and it wasn’t expected, delete it.
