CPD Activity Report from Sunday Incidents
2:08 AM, Officers Conducted a traffic stop in the 2600 block of Washington Street. As a result of the stop Officers arrested a male subject for driving while intoxicated. The subject was transported to the Chillicothe Police Department where he was processed, issued a municipal citation, and released with a court date.
10:18 AM, Officers responded to the 800 block of Cherry Street for a report of a dog at large. Upon Officers arrival contact was made with the dog owner and a warning was issued for dog at large.
10:40 AM, Officers responded to the 1400 block of McVey for a domestic disturbance. Officers determined the disturbance was verbal in nature and no arrests were made. Both parties involved agreed to separate.
5:49 PM, Officers responded to the 1000 block of Industrial Road for a report of an unsecured business. Officers checked the building and found everything to be ok and no sign of break in.
5:51 PM, Officers responded to the 10 block of 10th Street for a report of a vehicle that had been taken from a residence. Officers contacted the vehicle owner who did not want to report the vehicle stolen.
7:59 PM, Officers responded to the 10 block of Jennifer Lane for a report of a burglary. The suspect had fled the scene prior to Officers arrival but the suspect has been identified and charges are pending.
9:28 PM, Officers responded to the 2700 block of Washington Street for a report of a dog bite that had just occurred in the 1100 block of Comstock. Officers determined the subject was bitten by their own dog while attempting to train the dog. The subject sought medical treatment for the bit at Hedrick Medical Center. No charges will be filed.
