Great Pershing Balloon Derby Includes Changes
The 44th annual Great Pershing Balloon Derby, a tradition on Labor Day Weekend, will be held this year, but there are several changes due to COVID-19. Organizers of the event announced, to keep health and safety at the forefront, there will be NO Friday Night South Main Night Flame and the events at Myron Peacher Memorial Launch Field will be closed to Spectators.
The Great Pershing Balloon Derby will include balloon flights and they will have the Saturday parade on Main Street, but they do ask that you practice social distancing if you plan to attend.
They will also have balloon flights over Brookfield as weather permits.
