Chillicothe Police Have Busy Tuesday

The Chillicothe Police Department reports a couple of arrests and 112 calls for service Tuesday.  Those calls include:

8:10 AM, Officers responded to the 200 block of E. Bridge Street, for possible narcotics.  As a result of the investigation, a man was arrested for receiving stolen property. He was processed, cited and released with a court date.

1:55 PM, Officers responded to the 1700 block of Derringer for a report of property damage.  The investigation is ongoing.

2:29 PM, Officers responded to the 1400 block of Cooper Street to recover an abandoned bike.

3:33 PM, Officers responded to the 600 block of Elmdale for suspicious activity.  Officers checked a residence and found all to be well.

7:18 PM, Officers observed a possible domestic near the intersection of Washington and Clay Street.  Officers contacted a woman who stated a man had struck her.  Officers have identified the man and are seeking a warrant for his arrest.

10:35 PM, Officers responded to the 1200 block of Polk Street for a man and woman involved in a domestic disturbance.  When officers arrived they found the couple arguing and observed the man was someone the Officers had just warned for the same thing at around 10:00 pm near Cherry and Webster Street.  Officers had also spoken to the man at about 9:00 pm in the 400 block of Walnut Street when he was found to be arguing with another man.  Officers arrested the man and he was taken to the Daviess DeKalb Regional Jail for a 24-hour hold pending charges.
