With the voter approval of the formation of the Chillicothe Fire Protection District, but the failure to approve the funding to support the district, what does that mean for the district? Former Chillicothe Fire Chief Darrell Wright, who was elected to serve on the board of directors, says they are working with an attorney to determine if they have a Fire District or because of no funding, there is NO Fire District. Wright says as they find out more, they will keep us informed.
