An agreement for control of Litton Road, between the City of Chillicothe, Livingston County and Rich Hill Township, received the approval of the City Council Monday. City Attorney Robert Cowherd explained the agreement.
An ordinance was also presented to set the speed limit at 35 miles per hour, but in discussion with residents on the road, that was amended to 25 miles per hour.
After an extended discussion, the council approved the agreement and the speed limit. The agreement still needs the approval of the County Commission and the Township Boards.
