Livingston County Sheriff’s Report

The Livingston County Sheriff’s Department report includes several investigations and arrests.

August 11th at 9:09 pm, deputies stopped a vehicle on US 36 at Mitchell Road for equipment violations and the investigation led to the seizure of suspected Oxycodone medication that did not belong to the driver and was packaged indicating it was illegal to possess.  The deputy arrested 28-year-old Tyler Ray Bitters

August 13th, at 2:29 am a deputy checked a vehicle on US 36 near Wheeling at 97 mph.  The vehicle was stopped in Linn County and found to contain several juveniles from Linn and Livingston County.  The report states all the juveniles had quietly gotten out of their homes without parental consent.  All parents were notified and the juveniles were returned home safely.  The driver was cited for 97 in a 65.

MOST WANTED ARRESTS

Arrested August 13th – 22-year-old Jesse Allen Brock of Rothville was arrested.  He was wanted on a Livingston County warrant for alleged Probation Violation on a conviction for Stealing a Firearm/Explosive Weapon/Ammonium Nitrate.  Bond set at $10,000 cash.

August 14 in Texas, – 39-year-old Johnifer James Lodge of San Antonio, TX was arrested on a Livingston County warrant for alleged Stealing-$25,000 or MORE.  Bond was denied.

Other Arrests

Recently the LCSO made a vehicle stop for a traffic offense and as a result, detained an adult from outside of Livingston County on a stop and hold order from an agency in the Kansas City area who was wanted for questioning on a homicide.  That agency was notified and the vehicle impounded to potentially assist in their investigation.  That person was turned over to the respective authorities.

August 8th, an ATV complaint on 190 at Route U resulted in the arrest of 22-year-old Payton Rae Tettenborn of Olathe, Kansas on a Kansas City warrant for alleged bestiality.  Tettenborn was at the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail pending extradition.

August 11th, complaints of a vehicle traveling at a very high rate of speed coming from Linn County into Livingston County.  The Deputy checked the vehicle near Mooresville Junction at 102 in a 65.  The driver was identified as Damone D. Jefferson of Detroit Michigan.  He was arrested for excessive speed.

August 12th, deputies arrested 53-year-old Kelvin Maggiefield of Trenton, on a Livingston County warrant for alleged Failure to Obey a Judge’s Order.  Maggiefield was released on bond.
