Trenton Council – Property and Clean-Up

The Trenton City Council is preparing to take action on a couple of property and clean-up issues.  City Administrator Ron Urton says if they have to do demolition to clear the property the city attaches a lien to the property.

The council asked for the attorney to draft the ordinance that would allow the buyer to pay 10% of the lien or $500, whichever is greater.

The council approved a letter for landlords explaining a process for unit clean-outs.

That letter should be going to Trenton Landlords soon.
