Chillicothe Police Report For Friday & Saturday

Chillicothe Police responded to 200 calls for service Friday and Saturday.  Some of the calls include:

Friday

9:45 AM, Officers responded to the area of 3rd and Wilson Street to investigate a report of smoke.  Officers found the smoke to be coming from a piece of lawn equipment, contact was made with the owner.

10:16 AM, Officers performed stationary radar on Litton Rd.

10:44 AM, Officers responded to the 1000 block of Locust Street for a two-vehicle accident.  No one was injured.

12:57 PM, Officers arrested a 23-year-old woman on a Clinton County warrant for failing to appear on traffic charges.  She posted bond and was released.

1:56 PM, Officers responded to a two-vehicle non-injury accident in the 1900 block of Calhoun Street.

3:20 PM, Officers responded to the 400 block of Reynard Street for a report of theft of medication.  The investigation is ongoing.

5:17 PM, Officers were called to the 400 block of Third Street and took a report of a motorcycle stolen between 1:00 and 5:17 PM.  The investigation continues.

8:19 PM, Officers responded to the 1400 block of Maple Street for a report of harassment.  Officers contacted the suspect and advised them of the complaint.  The suspect agreed to stop.

11:36 PM, Officers responded to the 200 block of 3rd Street for a report of a disturbance. Officers investigated and transported one subject to Hedrick Medical Center for a mental health evaluation.

Saturday, August 15th, 2020

3:35 AM, Officers responded to the 1700 block of Deringer Drive for a possible disturbance.  Upon Officers arrival, the resident believed someone was in their house.  Officers checked the residence, and everything was found to be ok.

9:05 AM, Officers took a walk-in report concerning two chainsaws stolen from the bed of a truck between the hours of 3:00 and 6:00 AM in the 900 block of Webster Street.

7:10 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of Webster Street for a report of illegal drug activity.  Officers took a report of a parent using narcotics while children are in the home. An investigation is taking place and the children’s division has been contacted.

11:43 PM, Officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Violet and Conn street. Officers discovered that the driver was a Juvenile and did not have a valid driver’s license.  In the vehicle there were multiple Juveniles that had been drinking alcoholic beverages prior to the stop. All Juveniles were transported to the Chillicothe Police Department and were released to their parents.
