The Chillicothe Lady Hornets Softball team won a preseason exhibition game, beating Putnam County 16 to 8 on the road.
Chillicothe was led by Sophia Luetticke with four hits and an RBI, Kirsten Dunn with 4 hits and two RBI, Kinlei Boley with three hits and two RBI, Hope Helton with two hits and three RBI, Brook Horton with two hits and an RBI, Mika Hibner with a hit and two RBI and Jolie Bonderer with two RBI.
Dunn, Helton and Luetticke each had a triple, Dunn had three doubles and Hibner with one double.
Halle Rucker was the starting pitcher with relief help from Mollie Ellis, Kinlei Boley and Brooke Horton.
Putnam County had eight runs off of nine hits.
