A man reported missing near Poosey Conservation area Wednesday has returned home. The Livingston County Sheriff’s Department reported the man returned home safe early in the morning. The Sheriff’s department had planned to return to the area today to continue a search for a missing elderly man.
Deputies and area residents were searching the area north of Poosey since about 10:30 Wednesday morning. They have been assisted by the area Conservation Agent, Chillicothe Department of Emergency Services and the Chillicothe Police Department and their drone. The Highway Patrol and their helicopter was using infrared cameras. The Department of Corrections K9 tracking dog team was also helping.
