An Iowa Woman Was Injured When She was Ejected In A Roll Over Accident

An Iowa woman had moderate injuries after the vehicle she was in crashed Saturday night on Interstate 35 near Winston.  State Troopers report 34-year-old Courtney Blaine of Des Moines was ejected from the vehicle she was riding in when that vehicle overturned.  According to the report, 48-year-old Vernon Walker of Des Moines was northbound and ran off the road, overcorrected and his vehicle overturned.  Blain was not wearing a safety belt and was taken to Mosaic Life Care Center in St. Joseph for treatment of moderate injuries.  Walker was not injured in the accident.
