Drive Up Flu Shots For Livingston Co. Residents

Livingston County Health Center has two opportunities for county residents to receive their vaccination for influenza for the 2020-2021 flu season.   Curbside Family Flu Shot Clinics will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd and Monday, September 28th from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in their parking lot at 800 Adam Drive.

The CDC recommends anyone 6 months or older receive an annual influenza vaccination.  Experts think it will be even more important to get vaccinated this season, due to COVID-19 circulating at the same time.

County residents 6 months of age and older can get vaccinated at either clinic. Those 65 and older should bring their Medicare card to the clinic.  Those with private insurance should bring their insurance card.  Those without insurance can still get vaccinated at no out of pocket cost.

You are asked to call 646-5506 for an appointment.  To speed up the process, the health center has made forms available to download from their website, www.livcohealthcenter.com.   County residents should complete the form, print it and bring along to the clinic to decrease the amount of time waiting.

Additional opportunities to get vaccinated will be announced until the vaccine supply runs out.
