The tax levy for the Chillicothe R-II School district was discussed by the School Board Tuesday. Superintendent Dan Wiebers says it is an important topic that will need to be addressed as the year continues.
Wiebers says the timing of the levy on the ballot will determine when the additional revenue would be available to the district.
Some have suggested the district just needs to make cuts. Wiebers says they have been making cuts.
