The Chillicothe Lady Hornets Softball team had three home runs and two doubles to help them beat Savannah 10-0 in six innings, thanks to the ten-run mercy rule.
Chillicothe’s Mika Hibner hit a three run shot to center field for a 3-0 lead.
Bre Pithan had a solo home run in the second to left field.
The final home run came in a five-run fifth inning when Brooke Horton hit a three run shot to right field.
Sophia Luetticke had two doubles and a single, Kinlei Boley with two singles and one each for Sophia Luetticke, Kirsten Dunn, Mika Hibner, and Hallie Rucker.
Kinlei Boley went the full six innings, allowing no runs with two singles and nine strike-outs.
With the 10-0 win, Chillicothe softball has now won five in a row.
