Chillicothe Man Indicted In Drug Conspiracy

A Chillicothe man and a Mooresville woman are among 18 indicted on a $1.7 million conspiracy to distribute more than 150 kilograms of methamphetamine.  The Federal Grand Jury for the Western District of Missouri handed down the indictment on Wednesday.

Thirty-one-year-old Seth Alan Turbyfill is one of 18 to be indicted for 25 counts in the alleged conspiracy that ran from January of 2017 through September of 2020.  The charges for Turbyfill include alleged felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition and illegal possession of a firearm involved in drug trafficking.

Also indicted from the local area was 49-year-old Amy Leann Nieman of Moorseville for alleged illegally possessing firearms in connection with their drug-trafficking crimes and felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition.

Among the others named in the indictment is the owner of Rockstar Burgers in Kansas City, 42-year-old Brian Douglas Smith.
