Livingston County COVID-19 Numbers Continue To Climb

Another 22 cases of COVID-19 were added for Livingston county Thursday, bringing the total to 342.  That includes 90 active cases and 252 that are removed from isolation.

Health Center officials note the state of Missouri does not track recoveries, so this number reflects those that are no longer in isolation.  They have noted “This does not mean the person has necessarily ‘recovered.'”

The health center has also noted “finding many, if not most, of our residents who have had COVID-19 have had lasting effects to their health, such as fatigue, shortness of breath, headaches, brain fog and muscle aches.”

The number of cases for October is up considerably from September.  Total Cases in September: 120, and the cases in October To Date: 131

The county has seen 33 Total that were Hospitalized.  There were 18 hospitalized in September and 7 so far in October.

The Health center has also noted a few locations that have seen increasing numbers.  Baptist Home: 30, First Baptist Church: 13, Fast Lanes: 11, and House of Prayer: 3.
