The Chillicothe R-II School District will make adjustments to their bus routes next week due to the bridge closures scheduled on US Highway 65, south of Chillicothe and Highway 190, west of Chillicothe.
Assistant Superintendent Dr. Zac McMains says MoDOT’s schedule is to close US 65, Wednesday at 1:00 am. That will affect bus routes for Wednesday through Friday.
McMains says the closing of Highway 190 at the Thompson River, Wednesday at 8:00 pm, created greater problems.
Affected parents will be contacted and advised of the changes.
