Election Results – Livingston County Contested Races

Seventy-one-point-seven percent of Livingston County voters cast a ballot on the November General Election.  This election included three locally contested races.

For the Western District Commissioner, Republican David Mapel retains his seat, with 2,254 votes to Democrat Kris Daniel’s 767 votes.

For The Collector/Treasurer, Republican Diana Havens wins with 4,943 votes to Democrat Teresa Sykes with 1,643 votes.

The County Coroner’s race was the closest of the local races.  Democrat J Scott Lindley keeps his office with 3,827 votes to Republican Joshua Dennis with 2,758 votes.

Of the ballots counted on election night, there were 1341 absentee or mailed ballots cast prior to election day.  That is 14% of eligible Livingston County voters that cast a ballot prior to November 3rd.
