A single-vehicle accident in Linn County left a Brookfield woman with minor injuries Monday. State Troopers report 31-year-old Ashlee Feather of Brookfield was taken to Pershing Memorial Hospital for treatment of minor injuries following the accident at about 9:35 pm on US 36, near Laclede. According to the report, Feather was eastbound and struck a deer, then struck a guardrail. She was wearing a safety belt.
A Canton, MO man was arrested Monday afternoon in Caldwell County. State Troopers report 63-year-old Joseph Walker was arrested for alleged DWI with drugs, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, speeding (88/65), and no seatbelt. He was held at the Caldwell County Detention Center.
