The Chillicothe JV Football season came to an end Monday with a loss to Brookfield 12 to 6.
Chillicothe scored first on an Alex Gamblin 2-yard Quarterback sneak after throwing a pass completion to James Mathew on the 2-yard line.

The Hornets Grant Leamer made an interception on Brookfield’s opening drive but the Hornets could not turn it into points.

Brookfield scored twice in the third quarter. Hornets JV Coach Aaron McQuinn stated the Hornets struggled to keep an offensive drive alive after the first quarter.

Chillicothe was a few yards away from the end zone when they came up short.

The JV and C-Team finished the year with a 9-3 combined record. Coach McQuinn said the players have received several compliments from opposing teams on Chillicothe’s high level of play and their character.
