The Chillicothe Hornets football team heads to Richmond on Friday night for the District Semifinal football game.
Chillicothe beat St Joseph Benton in overtime in the first round, while Richmond had the night off. The Spartans are the top seed in the 7-team bracket.
Richmond Coach Nick Persell says his team returns a lot of starters from last year’s team, and that helped them overcome difficulty of the abnormal off season this past summer.
Chillicothe Coach Tim Rulo says he respects Richmond’s skills.
