Bright Futures Program at R-II Schools

The Bright Futures program in the Chillicothe R-II School District was approved by the School Board nearly a year ago and was expected to be implemented this spring.  Due to COVID-19, those plans were postponed.  Bright Futures is a program that teams community with the school district and the students with a focus on the students.
Adrain Allen, a Counselor at the Chillicothe Elementary School and district liaison for the Bright Futures Program, says it is a framework of support.

Mike Tipton, an Advisory Board member and the pastor at United Methodist Church, says anyone in the community can be a part of the program to help the students.

In the Coming week, KCHI will have more information on the Bright Futures program and how individuals and businesses can get involved.
