Chillicothe Police Report For Friday

The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 112 calls for service Friday.  Some of the calls include:

7:16 am, Officers called to the 1100 block of Walnut Street for a subject that was trespassing and loitering.  At the owner’s request, the subject was advised to leave the property and not return.

7:44 am, School Officer out at Middle School about an assault.  A report was taken.

11:13 am, items were brought to the PD that had been found on a parking lot in the 200 block of S. Washington Street.  The person that lost the items later came to PD to claim them.

11:59 am, School Resource Officer out in the 900 block of Dickinson Street on an investigation of possible child abuse.  Officer determined call to be unfounded.

12:56 pm, Report from business in the 500 block of W. Business 36 of sickly acting raccoon in the empty lot next to business.  Animal Control picked up the animal.

2:07 pm, Report of theft from business in the 1000 block of S. Washington Street.  Investigation continuing.

2:31 pm, Officers served warrants on a 28-year-old Chillicothe resident in the 400 block of Reynard Street.  Warrants were for Domestic Assault and Probation/Parole violation.  The person was transported to the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail.

4:56 pm, Officers in the 1200 block of Miller Avenue for an assault investigation.  Information to be relayed to School Officer as the incident occurred at school and is being investigated.

7:42 pm, Subject calling to report a missing dog.  dog is a Beagle/Blue Heeler mix wearing a brown Carhart collar, missing from Harvest Drive area.  Dog’s name is “Bandit”. If you see the dog, contact the PD at 646-2121.

10:17 pm, Officer out at home in the 600 block of Commercial Street for possible property damage and theft.
