A new bridge in Livingston county officially opened this (Tuesday) morning. Livingston County Presiding Commissioner Ed Douglas says the bridge is on LIV-409.
This bridge allows for two-way traffic.
Douglas says the county replaces about one bridge a year through the Federal Government’s BRO program. Under the program, the Federal Government pays 80% of the cost to replace the bridge.
