The Boys Games of the Savannah tournament opening round begins this evening. Chillicothe will face Kearney in their opening game of the Tournament.
Hornets Coach Tim Cool says the Kearney is a large school district and normally has great basketball talent.
Both teams are 1-0 on the season. Chillicothe beat Hamilton last Tuesday while Kearney beat St Pius X 75-55 last week.
Tonight’s game tips off at 5:30pm from Savannah High School and can be heard on KCHI. This is the first meeting of the two teams since the 2011 Kearney Tournament.
