A Winter Weather Advisory is issued for portions of the KCHI listening area for Tuesday. The advisory currently includes Grundy and Daviess County and areas north and west. Precipitation expected across the region could include rain, snow, freezing rain, and sleet. Bret Pesel, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Kansas City says for the Chillicothe, we will start the day with a wintery mix.
Pesel says through the day, the precipitation will change.
Areas North and West could see more snow.
As the weather system develops, the amount and type of precipitation could change, depending on the timing and actual direction of the storm system.
