Tips Sought In Shooting Of Pet

Livingston County Deputies are seeking assistance as they investigate a family pet that was shot.  Sheriff Steve Cox says the incident happened Tuesday, between 6:15 am and 5:45 pm near the 7000 block of LIV 533, in the northwest part of the county.

The report states the dog had been left outside and when the owner returned home they found the pet had been shot and was in serious condition.  The report also stated the injury was from a large caliber firearm.

Anyone with information on who may have shot the dog is asked to call the Sheriff’s office at 660-646-0515, dispatch at 660-646-2121.  You can also submit a TIP through the Sheriff’s Department website, www.livcoso.org.
