Chillicothe Police Report For Tuesday

At 8:09 a.m., Officers were dispatched to a parking complaint in the area of W. Polk St. and Dickinson Ave.  Officers discovered two vehicles in violation.  The vehicles were towed from the scene.

At 9:54 a.m., Officers responded to a report of possible illegal drug activity in the 600 block of W. Bus. 36 Hwy.  A 28-year-old man was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.  He was processed and released.

At 10:00 a.m., Officers checked on a vehicle left unattended on the street at N. Washington St. and Polk St.  The vehicle was removed from the street.

At 10:10 a.m., Officers spoke with a citizen at the police department, about their vehicle missing.  The citizen was advised it had been and towed and given the tow company information.

At 12:24 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a vehicle parked on private property for an extended period of time.  Officers discovered the vehicle was not stolen and the property owner did not want any further action.

At 4:10 p.m., Officers responded to a report of an item left in the yard of a home in the 3000 block of Blackhawk.  The item was removed.

At 8:46 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a patient who needed mental health help leaving a medical facility in the 2700 block of N. Washington St.  The patient was located and returned.

At 10:12 p.m., Officers assisted the Chillicothe Department of Emergency Services with a vehicle fire in the 1000 block of Graves St.
