Rader Gets #100, CHS Goes5-0 at Cameron

The Chillicothe Hornets Wrestling team benefited from a full roster to go 5-0 in the Crossroads Duals in Cameron. Chillicothe picked up multiple individual wins due to open weight classes by the opponents.
Chillicothe beat Trenton 54 to 19, Mexico 40 to 38, Marceline 48 to 31, Clinton 57 to 21 and Sullivan 50 to 27. Odessa and Cameron also went 5-0 on the day.
Coach Chad Smith said his team “wrestled really well against some with very good teams with strong history in their programs. Mexico was state champions a couple of seasons ago.”
He said he was very proud of how his team is progressing, stating they get better each time they go out and stop to the line.
Individually for Chillicothe: Lane McCoy went 4-1 with four byes.
Sheldon Rader went 2-3 with one bye and picked up his 100th career win.
Logan Clark went 2-3 with two byes
Cayden Larson went 4-1 with two byes and one win by pin.
Brody Carins went 4-1 with two pins and a bye.
Lucas Reynolds went 4-1 with three pins and a bye.
Wade Horton went 2-3 with two byes.
Bryce Dominique went 2-2 with two pins.
Dawson Sutton went 0-4.
