The Missouri Department of Conservation is offering a virtual program to learn about crossbow hunting gear and techniques
The crossbow is an ancient form of archery and is enjoying new popularity as a tool for hunting and target shooting. Â A free virtual online clinic about hunting with crossbows will be offered February 7th, from 1:00 to 2:00 pm.
MDC staff will discuss crossbow types, features, and hunting considerations. The online presentation will include demonstrations of crossbow loading and shooting. Â Trouble shooting and safety tips will also be offered.
