Chillicothe Hornet Wrestlers didn’t bring home any gold medals, but still finished well in the Benton tournament on Saturday. Team scores were not provided.
Finishing 3rd were Lane McCoy at 103 pounds, Justin Pyle at 132, Brody Carins at 152, Gauge Chenet at 160, Brock Miller at 182 and Christian Peniston at 285.
Finishing 4th were Cayden Larson at 138, Dawson Sutton at 170, Lucas Reynolds at 195 and Wade Horton at 220.
Finishing 6th was Bryce Dominique at 145 and finishing 8th was Logan Clark at 120.
Chillicothe Junior Varsity also competed in the tournament: James Griffin was 4th at 285, Joel Edwards took 6th at 106, Cesar Mares was 7th at 145 and Priest Bosley 7th at 152 pounds.
