Council Moves Forward With Streets Plan

The Chillicothe City Council gave the approval to move forward on the Street Maintenance Plan that includes an estimated $4.5 million dollars of work.  City Administrator Darin Chappell gave a brief overview.  He says the list is based on recommendations from each of the council members.

He says that is only part of the plan.

The curb and gutter work is on BOTH sides of the street.

With the approval to move forward, Chappell says he will meet with the engineers and hopes to have a final list and be ready to go out for bids after the next Council meeting.
