The Chillicothe Lady Hornets has a new Queen of the Treys. Sophomore Jessica Reeter set what is believed to be a school record when she made eight treys in the Lady Hornets home game win over Lathrop 65 to 33.
Reeter hit two treys in the first, three in the second, two more in the third quarter and one in the fourth quarter.
Coach Darren Smith said the team is getting better with the outside shooting.
In addition to Reeter’s 24 points, Essie Hicks had eight points, Ellie Barnett and Bre Pithan each with six, Selby Miller with five, Brooke Horton and Jolie Bonderer with four each, Clara Leamer with three, Izzie Montgomery and Kinlei Boley both with two and playing time for Sophia Luetticke, Lucy Reeter and Cali Burkhardt.
Chillicothe girls host Benton on Thursday night.
