Chillicothe Municipal Utilities will replace the equipment used to take automatic electric and water meter readings. The Chillicothe Board of Public Works reviewed bids for the equipment this week. General Manager Jim Gillilan says they have been having a lot of issues with the current system.
Gillilan says the CMU staff will do the installations.
The work will likely start early this summer.
